Top 10 Emergency Essential Oils
I am a firm believer in having basic natural emergency remedies on hand for when any of my family get sick. I have a few basic essential oils like lavender, ginger, oregano and peppermint. But, what about you. Are you prepared for an emergency? What if you could not get immediate medical attention. What would you do? Thankfully, I recently came across a helpful article from backdoorsurvival that lists 10 emergency survival essential oils. I am not a prepper, more of an urban survivalist. However, I believe every home should have emergency medicine (natural and traditional) not just for disasters but for everyday minor medical emergencies.

One has still got to be careful with essential oil. You should NOT ingest it unless working with a certified aromatherapist. Young living distributors are not certified aromatherapists. Be careful,…essential oil if not used with caution can be dangerous.

I think it’s ridiculous to think people have the time, or resources to build a distillery in our yard when young living has spent decades perfecting the process and we are able to buy their oils that never expire to keep on hand.

CPTG is a trademarked term it actually doesn’t mean anything. Lore is correct and oils shouldn’t be ingested except under the care of a trained aromatherapist and even then it is only for an intended purpose for a short period of time. People really need to research outside what a MLM tells them. Something as simple as a drop of citrus oil in a gl$#%&!@* of water can do damage internally.

I found this on King Tuts Tomb…The perfumed ointment found in Tutankhamun’s tomb was of a solid nature, although it was noted that it melted and became more viscous within the heat of a hand. Observers at the time found the aroma similar to coconut oil and also remarked that it resembled the scent of valerian (Valeriana officinalis), the first tip-off to what the jar probably contained.
The perfume was $#%&!@*yzed in 1926 and was found to consist of a “neutral animal fat” and a resin or balsam. At the time they were unable to be more specific. However, the primary fragrant component is now believed to be valerian’s close cousin, the ancient and precious Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi).

Best results for me is with young living. I love the Seed to seal process YL is only company in world with this standard and I love that members can volunteer at harvest and go through the complete process. It is an amazing experience. A company with over 20 years experience and largest essential oil company in world. Only one I found where the founder is on the farms, at the distilleries, going through the process keeping highest standards.

Life changing yes, ingesting can damage the esophagus and mucosal layer of the stomach. Repeated damage of the esophagus can give you Barrett’s esophagus which can lead to cancer. Damaging the mucosal layer of the stomach leads to ulcers. Much safer to apply to skin above area properly diluted and get the same results.

I love my doTERRA oils they are 100% Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade. I am a wellness advocate and so thankful I am able to share with family and friends. I wish I could grow these oils and get the same benefits but there is no way possible I could grow these plants in TN and get the benefits that we get, because the plants that doTERRA uses are grown in the countries where they are native to and the farmers know how to harvest them just at the right time. So it is good to have this wonderful company to produce these oils for us to share with others. DoTERRA is also awesome because they also give back to all the countries that Produce these oils!! #doTERRAalltheway

I totally disagree. Some plants can’t be grown in the US and all the expense of harvesting and distilling and packaging would not be economical. YL oils have no expiration date so if you buy them now to stock away for bad times, you don’t have to worry!

  38. Melissa Johnson Akers Reply

And by the way I don’t make ANY commissions from YL. I am a wholesale member but not in the business to make money, for me it’s about being healthy.

It’s funny how “you shouldn’t ingest essentials oils because it could harm you” but people eat and drink crap everyday that has propylene glycol and carageenan and other PROVEN harmful ingredients. So I say live and let live and the pots need to stop calling the kettles black.

  41. Tiffany Tousignant Reply

If it’s something you can ingest it is required by law to have an expiration date. And literally everything breaks down over time no matter what it is. In science lingo it’s called a half-life, which is the time it takes to breakdown into half the strength/potency/whatever of it’s original form.

  42. Amy Sullivan Reply

Mandy if they are labeled food grade then they can be ingested. Soda (among so many other things) can erode the esophagus too but people drink that crap. I would much rather take my chances on an EO than soda. Some oils work better depending on the application in my experience. I use DoTERRA and love them. I have had no issues ingesting the food grade oils.

  43. Amy Sullivan Reply

For the record… I use essential oils for their benefits to myself and my family… Not for commission. I am an RN and work full time to support my family. For me, using essential oils has nothing to do with making money. I share my experiences to help other people. If they use them.. Great. If not, that’s great too. I don’t actively try to sell them either. But so what if I did? I would also like to point out that I did lots of research before I started using essential oils and both companies that people have mentioned on here (DoTERRA and Young Living) are great oils. I have a medical background and find myself far from being “brainwashed”.

  44. Amy Sullivan Reply

I agree with Katie. Both oils are great. I chose DoTERRA because their oils are sourced where the plant naturally grows. I also chose them because they are doing so much to help other countries. Putting in water systems, helping poor countries grow, giving people a chance at life. Look them up and you will see the amazing things they have done around the world to help others. Love it!!!

I agree with Becky CPTG has no standing for anything it is not regulated by anything and anyone can slap that label on their oils doesn’t make that oil any better than the next. Education is very important, I use oils but I do not ingest others do, I am a rep with a company but would never tell a hostess or customer to ingest our oils or any others for that matter it is a personal choice and each person needs to do their own research.

  63. Jamie Chapman-Lint Reply

There are numerous oil companies out there including DT YL Simply Aroma, Ameo, Mountain Rose and the list goes on. It is a shame that a rep from a company is uneducated in not only the other companies out there but that they go on and on about how theirs our the best! Each person has the right to be with whatever company they choose and each person has the opportunity to buy from one of these companies but until you have personally researched each company yourself and know what a research and test result is your statement is very uneducated. There are many great oils out there from each company and everyone has there own preference but for you to say DT is the only company is not only a false statement but uneducated and only shows the integrity of the reps of the company and their lack of eduction their distributors. Very sad

  65. Jamie Chapman-Lint Reply

Ok that is one company and there are numerous battles between YL and DT because the higher ups of DT came from YL there is much speculation with both companies can you show me research on all the other oil companies out there that prove yours are better is what I’m saying you are just saying yours are better than YL and the battle goes on and from what I have been told by reputable DT reps DT reps are not suppose to bash other companies. Again how can you prove you are the best, like I said very uneducated post

  66. Lisa Nevins Dodson Reply

I didn’t bash anyone – I only said be careful who you buy your oils from.

  67. Sue Ann Street Reply

Best course of action is NOT to treat yourself. Chances are you will misdiagnose the problem resulting in possible serious consequences. There are certainly legitimate alternative medicine approaches to most problems, but you have to first separate the practice from the product before you proceed. This is an adverti$#%&!@*t to sell a product. Keep that in mind.

  68. Kim Wall Colston Reply

After a great deal of research and educating myself on essential oils, I chose doTERRA because of the fact that they are the ONLY EOs out there that are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade. Most (not all) of the oils are ingestible. I spoke with reps from several companies as well as researched processing, shelf life, uses, and the list goes on. As a nurse of 25 years, and a mom of 3, my family and health are of utmost importance to me. I have yet to have anyone from any of the companies I researched impress me as much as doTERRA. I commend anyone on choosing to enhance their health. My choice to use doTERRA and to later become a wellness advocate had zero to do with all the bashing that goes on between consultants…..strictly on my own research.

  69. Malinda Perkins Price Reply

From what I read lisa did not bash anyone. She suggested to be careful! She specifically stated facts on doTerra and young living but did not criticize either.

  71. Jamie Chapman-Lint Reply

Karen I would say to you to do your own research into all the different oil companies as the two you listed are not the only two companies out there and each company rep will tell you that there oils are better but you should always educate yourself into the different companies and what oils do for your health and how they should be used before you make any decision. These reps from these two companies you mentioned make money selling their products no points and I’m sure they are offered specials from time to time to earn free oils, they don’t work for free they are suppose to be educators for oils and spread the word the benefits of oils in general and they make money from their sales just like any other company.

  72. Jennifer Middleton Reply

Actually it is not required to have an expiration date or the FDA would not approve them too brut in they GRAS list. Just because you are in a network maiming company doesn’t mean the facts aren’t accurate. The FDA is working on guidelines that all essential oil companies will have to follow to market their oils and back up their claims. Young Living’s own Gary Young had been asked to write those guidelines. He has been researching and perfecting EO science for 3 decades and every other company is only out there because they see the potential and are benefiting from his hard work and dedication to quality and perfection. From the seed in the ground to the bottle it comes in, the company has it’s own farms and full oversight of planting, harvesting, distillation, and bottling. Nothing compares to Young Living, period!

  73. Jennifer Middleton Reply

Too bad the term “pure therapeutic grade” is a patent on a phrase rather than an actual scientific term used to evaluate essential oils.

I’ve been ingesting several oils twice a day for over a year and a half now as a tool in my fight against Lyme disease and all I’m doing is getting better. I have been sick with it for 22 years and have literally tried everything. I have had an extremely compromised immune system because if it. If Young Living EOs were dangerous to ingest then I should be dead now, not out of bed and functioning better than I have in years.

That’s great for those who are healthy. I’ve had Lyme disease for 22 years. Half of those years have been spent in my bed. I have tried every possible solution to get better. I started unsung Young Living EOs a year and a half ago and have give Finn 10-30% ability to function to 70%. We spent over 150K trying to get me better and yet nothing worked. Why then would I now trust any other brand st this point? These oils are cheap compared to the thousands of dollars we’ve gives to medical prac$#%&!@*ioners in both the allopathic and naturopathic communities. So those of you who are well can preach about living off the land while those of us who have been chronically ill BECAUSE of the land will continue to get better using what had been tried and tested.

Most of the oils listed come in doTERRA’s Family Physician Kit. I have to say, it’s pretty disheartening to see some of the ugly comments and outlandish claims people make on here about EO’s and to each other. Personally, I chose doTERRA for my family after a great deal of independent research and taking the time to educate myself regarding EOs. I researched several different companies, their claims, their processes, etc., and found that doTERRA was the best option for my family. Clearly, some of the people on here have failed to do their own research, and basically regurgitate anything they are told, and that’s unfortunate, because they are doing themselves AND the people they attempt to share EOs with a great disservice. People should be commended for being proactive about their health and not have to endure criticism for which EO company they choose. Knowledge about anything is power, and ignorance is dangerous. Yes, some oils CAN be ingested, and some oils should be diluted, but to bash others isn’t helpful or beneficial to anyone, and to be honest, I would be turned off by any representative who made false claims about oils or bashed another oil company. I know there are reps with ALL the companies who criticize and bad mouth the other companies….shame on you! Personally, when I made the decision to graduate from a consumer to a consultant, I did it so I could share with others the great things I’ve learned and experienced with doTERRA. But I encourage people to do their own research so they can make a choice that best suits them.

YL oils are also sourced from around the Globe. We either own the farm or partner with an established grower that meets our standards. YL also allows the public and it’s members to visit the farms, no matter where they are located. You are right-most important to do research and understand where your oils come from, how they are tested, how the plants are grown and harvested. Cheap oils give both our companies a bad name when no one researches.

  97. Karen Rynearson Reply

LOL Do you think you’re the only person on the planet with a degree or initials after your name? You act like it’s a completely impossible feat. I $#%&!@*ure you it’s not, despite what the FDA would like you to believe. I personally know of several holistic healers and herbalists that have their own home labs.
One can obtain any variety of formal college degrees, usually taught by textbook “experts” that went from a student’s chair to a teachers podium who have never actually done anything they teach. Letters after a name mean nothing, except to those who are easily impressed by framed diplomas and not actual experience in the field.
Ignorance is being willfully dependent instead of being self-sufficient. Holistic healers have been distilling plants and herbs; making medicinal extracts and tinctures for thousands of years. Essential oils are nothing new, neither are the multi-level, pyramid scheme marketing plans used by most, not all, companies to hock them.
I am really amazed by the intensity of the hostility raised by my comment about being as self-sufficient as possible, as if that were a bad thing. It is sad how afraid people are to step out of their co-dependent comfort zones; so much so that they can’t even tolerate someone suggesting they should be as self-reliant as possible in case a major disaster should occur.

Gary Young is a Registered Aromatherapist (not certified) a naturopathist (MD in natural medicine) and there are MD physicians, a surgeon that I know also, pharmacists, and RN’s like myself (20 yrs) and other medical personnel using Young Living Essential oils! They are amazing, have great guidelines and studied and researched uses and how to use them (diffusion, topically using appropriate guidelines that are specific and given fir each oil, and yes some orally).
There are 3 Schools of thought when it comes to essential oils:
English: small amts of oil in large amts carrier oil for m$#%&!@*age.
French: topically and/or ingestion for oils
    German: inhalation
We can learn from each of them:)
I recommend know your oil company: if they say only for diffusion only diffuse (but I would suspect they might not be pure)
If they say topically use topically but I would want to know more details
And yes if they say they can be ingested…know the facts, details, and farms, chemical $#%&!@*ysis of the oils, etc and people that have used them you trust and know to be true.
It’s not like the FDA is going to approve natural things:)
And I recommend take it to God to show you also:)

You can ingest some oils but they have to survive the digestive process to make any impact. EO’s are most effective through aromatherapy and carrier oils through the skin. This is what I’ve found after much research into how oils work. I find they work better for myself and my family this way.

  111. Katie Gerity Reply

Depending on the oil and the desired result you can apply topically mixed with a carrier oil or use aromatically in a diffuser or on your sleeve, etc. some companies are labeled as safe to ingest, meaning the FDA has said they are “generally recognized as safe”.

Meaning they do the research as to which land to use, plant their own seeds, cultivate and harvest their own crops and distill on the same property that the plants are grown. No other company in the USA can claim this. They control every step to make sure you are getting 100% pure and therapeutic grade oils. If you are going to invest in essential oils hands down nothing compares even remotely to Ameo essential oils. They hold their oils to the clinical grade Standards that are used in pub med studies and are the only oil that has been proven cell permeable. Ameo only uses the first distill and will only bottle them if they match clinical grade standards, are cell permeable, and have the most active cons$#%&!@*uents. Really do your homework! A lot of oil companies use the 3rd to 6th distill which greatly compromises their effectiveness and after that they use chemical solvents to separate the oil from any unwanted cons$#%&!@*uents, their oils are then tested and whatever is then missing is added back in. Ameo does none of this, if it is not good from the 1st distill it is a no go. There are also batch numbers on the bottom of all the bottles you can plug in online and see how it measured up in testing. If anyone is looking for more info, I’m glad to help!

It seriously gives me comfort knowing I could go to any of the farms and I can volunteer to work right here in Portland Michigan where I live there is a lady that is going to work on the farms with her horse to help plow and they’re using the oils on animals including horses that are in races and have injuries. What other companies do you know will let any of their distributors come and help out and volunteer at any point in time any day just because?? They don’t have anything to hide that’s my point they are not shady there a hundred percent true I just don’t like seeing other people waste their money I know I also don’t work and then they get upset and think that all oil companies are the same and it’s all a bunch of hippie stuff that doesn’t work well that’s not the case when she start using a company that is actually a hundred percent pure therapeutic grade that can be ingested that is approved and that is all natural yes it makes a big difference.

  221. Just because you become a distributor for YL doesn’t mean you have to sell. .. that’s one of the reasons I agreed to join the company. ..I just wanted to be able to get the best oils for wholesale price. … for me. ..getting someone signed up as distributor is an extra bonus… but not the main reason I joined. I wanted to have the freedom to buy whatever I want whenever I want without a middle man…get it for 24% less than retail price. ..earn points as I go and use them later to get free products. 🙂

  222. I don’t have the desire to distill my own anything when someone already does an excellent job at it! Can you imagine an emergency happening and there I am trying to distill oils amongst absolute chaos….lol! I’d much rather lug around pre made bottles. That in itself is self sufficient, self reliant and it would be so much more easier to share with more people who need help. No electricity…no stove top distilling. A Tsunami would wipe out any other type of equipment or it would be too much to carry to higher ground. I’m thinking real emergencies, though…I live on an island.

  223. You are dead wrong! I have been using them since July and feel amazing! No more sinusitis and I have tons of energy! I stopped taking my thyroid meds when my doctor lowered the dosage from 175 mcg to 100 mcg and they were still making me yawn all day! He told me they don’t know how much to give a person…they guess!!! Young living is a blessing not a pyramid scheme! They are helping people avoid toxins in meds and products! You obviously are only picking up talking points and false truths cuz if you experienced these amazing little drops of God (Dr. Wayne Dyer’s direct quote) you would not blvd trying to trash them! The FDA doesn’t regulate EO’s but YL has been in business 20+ years and their oils are pure and therapeutic because they have strict guidelines on how they’re made! They also have a seed to seal guarantee and some are ingestible! No additives whatsoever and 100% safe!

  224. It’s much better to use natural oils than meds with side effects that are worse than what you’re issues are or that are loaded with toxins! Common sense always is needed when taking anything as well.

  225. I belong to a YL group that has a huge support system. There are FB oil groups to learn and share stories and questions are always welcome. It’s a way of life and sharing the information is a part of it. People are taking and using meds and products that are full of toxins and this is a healthier and safer alternative for people and their families. I haven’t even takin so much as an aspirin since July! No Valium which I used to rely on for sleep and stress! These oils are a blessing! I say good enough for Jesus, good enough for me!!!

  227. Tonia Miske have you embraced essential oils??? It was like talking to a wall when I used them in the GI Lab and people were critical! Funny how that goes huh??? 😉

  228. I am addicted… Loving my essential oils. I am using and promoting doTerra… Karen Suhs I would love to get together with you and let you teach me more cause I know your the expert… I’m a newbie!

  229. Y’all are missing the point of my comment.I’m only referring to those on here that are repeating pretty much a sales pitch.I have friends that sell both DT and YL ,I have nothing against people selling it but I have some medical issues and am in several FB groups and like on here you can ALWAYS tell who sells stuff without them coming out and saying it.

  230. I was wondering the same thing Kristi Riddle-Osgood I have thought about trying some of these oils but you just don’t know who to trust. I have neorapathy and I have severe pain and I just don’t have a lot of cash to just try something that doesn’t help with pain. Most of the time you have to use several oils combined so it’s not like I could buy 1 bottle and if it doesn’t work out oh well I’m out x amount of money it’s 2-3 times that amount. Thanks for asking the question that so many are afraid to ask.

  231. Wow there are a lot of people who hate on DoTerra ! I love them so much – they work so well ! I have never tried YL so i can’t say anything negative about them – I just wish people weren’t so harsh in their comments:) I am just happy I found something that works for me personally!

  232. People have been using essential oils for who knows how long. I had a baby at home in 1981, studied up on natural therapies before then, etc. I was crunchy when crunchy wasn’t cool. Now these new MLM companies come out and try to convince consumers that NOBODY knew how to make essential oils in the thousands of years before Gary Living was even born. But you know what? People seemed to benefit from them and good companies marketed good oils WAY before he came on the scene to overprice the oils and justify MLM overpriced goods by claiming that nobody has ever made them correctly before or since. Whatever.

  233. Carolyn Stjohn, I’m interested in how you managed to get off your thyroid meds with oils? Please share if you will, thank you!!

  234. Long before the MLM marketing companies came into being, the common thread among EO users was that EOs are powerful (notice that they did not say, ” May be contaminated”) and should only be ingested upon the advice of a qualified aromatherapy or naturalpath prac$#%&!@*ioner.

  235. To hear the people here talk, you’d think that nobody else in the world has ever manufactured and marketed high quality essential oils, and if it isn’t sold by an MLM company, it isn’t good enough. I think that is hogwash.

  236. Instead of telling Kerry to do more research, perhaps you should think outside the koolaid and do your research as well. I recommend looking up Robert Tisserand and looking at injury reports. EO’s are medicinal. They should be used under the direction of a licensed professional. I am sure this will only reach one or two of you but please consider for one second what you are doing to you and your family if ingesting or overusing these oils. I love my EO’s but I also love my family and if I thought there was even a slight chance I could be doing harm, I would take it seriously. I used to think like you, but now I know better. Do yourself a favor and look outside of what your Brand is saying. Look at what professionals with over 30 years experience are saying. Please!!

  237. Instead of telling others to do more research, perhaps you should do your own research as well. I recommend looking up Robert Tisserand and looking at injury reports. EO’s are medicinal. They should be used under the direction of a licensed professional if taken internally and should ALWAYS be diluted when used topically. (For the record, I use an MLM to get my oils so I am not trying to speak negatively on that. I just hate seeing the pain caused every day from improper use.)

  238. I only use Young Living as well Jeanne and I can say with certainty that, even though some people may have sensitivity to certain oils, that I will only ever ingest Young Living Oils that I will read and make certain that are ingestible. These other companies, even ones that say therapeutic, are only trying to make money. Gary and Mary Young have been at this for 20 years and they have ingested these oils for these years, not dead yet from it. Go Young Living Essential Oils!

  239. If that were true Leann why sue……the majority of YLs complaints have been thrown out of court! YL claims trade secrets were stolen……if you check public record those people left about the time Mr Young was being jail/charged with practicing medicine without a license and other felonies! You should not post in defense of someone when public record disputes what you know!

  240. Fist of all the injury report is flawed! No do$#%&!@*ented medical files……only user accounts of reactions. Also by shear #s this do$#%&!@*ent proves that side effects are rare, mild to moderate, and negligible! Robert Tissarand states plainly that ingestion has its place! Tylenol says don’t take without consulting a MD…….

  241. Wow! Everyone has their preference. I have used young living oils. I also use Barefoot oils that are good. I do not sell any of these. Just tslk about how they have helped me and my family in the past. For the ones who want to take the time to distill go for it. I know my oils are 100% and available to me anytime!

  242. Young living has enriched my life by helping others learn and gain knowledge to use! I love feeling helpful in a world filled with harmful toxins

  243. I’m taking .75 mcg Levothyroxine and I got the result of my lab and my TSH is high. If I take this YL essential oil do this help me not to take this med since it’s making me still weak?

  244. Those of you who think being able to distill their own oils to be truly independent are quite daft. Don’t you think a natural disaster may quite possibly wipe out the still? The plants themselves? My oils go everywhere with me and the extra ones I have are all in one place so IF I had to evacuate they are easily grabbed. I proudly use doTERRA oils. I proudly share them. I proudly educate people to be healthier and happier. I proudly make money, HELPING PEOPLE! What on earth is wrong with that? Doterra will be along forever. Remember this when you can’t find a pharmaceutical antibiotic, or a doctor around. I will have my oregano oil.

  245. Doterra has their hand in from beginning to end too, but in the lands where they grow indigenous for a truly pure, quality oil. Being in those lands, they also give so much back to the communities that are growing the plants and trees. Our Co-impact sourcing is phenomenal along with our Healing Hands Foundation. Take some time and research some companies.

  246. YL certifies their own oils. They also do their own testing . They will not let 3 rd party testing in.
Their kids blend contains Rue. Very toxic. According to dr. Pappas 4 days ago….if your child is one of the children harmed by the kids blend ..you may have just won the jackpot. That company is to big to be adding toxic ingredients,
Valor….look at the ingredient. It’s in a base of coconut oil. It’s diluted down.
I hate MLM companies period. They’re such a turn off and the products are ‘ as a rule’ extremely over priced.

  247. I use Young Living Oils daily for myself and my family. The Seed to Seal promise let’s me know that the product is safe for my children and the fact that they are pure therapeutic grade oils makes me feel sure that I’ve made the best choice for my family. Each person gets to choose. Glad to see so many people using something God made to help us treat and heal ourselves 🙂

  248. I grew up surrounded by eucalyptus trees and learned how important they are. I have used essential oils for many many years. It wasn’t until finding Young Living essential oils to regain my sense of smell after loosing this sense for 20 years. Look up oil-testimonials.com use my sponsor # 1223830 If you would like to read on how beneficial they are. I only trust Young Livings oils to take internally, they are just pure plain and simple. God Bless

  249. Why people hate on MLM companies is so useless.
Instead of marketing on t.v and adds they pay commision. I have never seen so much hatred with Mary Kay or Avon. My best advice is to not believe every rep and do your own research on the benefits of oils. Cross reference, look for the pros and cons on each oil or recipes you read or see.
I love Young Living, I have friends who love doterra.
I have been using oils myself for years from spas and health food stores and never had the experience I do with Y. L or the Doterra ones.
If you have been a part of a MLM that offers a credit card to purchase inventory to have a supply at home, then I would be cautious. Otherwise just quit with the rumors and educate yourself, “therapeutic grade” oils are a “catch” but if your oils, expire, say do not ingest, or crystalize even if you store them correctly, you have a problem.
People are constantly complaining about essential oils not being approved by tbe F.D.A, yet look at what is in stock in the grocery stores, and research how many prescription drugs the F.D.A has approved that have ruined lives or been recalled.
The overall picture is that the medical field and benefits of oils should be worked with together. Don’t $#%&!@*ume that modern medicine isn’t necessary, but have knowledge that other remedies are still ok to use.

  250. So if you grow your own plants & distill your own oils then you can be considered self sufficient? But if someone researches how to use essential oils and uses an oil they purchased makes them unprepared? I don’t get it. So Karen do you own a car? Did you make it yourself? And do you get your drinking water out of a well on your own property? And do you grow 100% of all the food you eat? Use electricity? Use a computer or cell phone? Buy shampoo and conditioner? I think your comment was rude because you used the term “ridiculous.” There is nothing wrong with buying essential oils that are made from someone else. Not everyone has the time or means to produce their own oils and we should be supporting each other with our love of oils and help to empower each other with knowledge and suggested uses.

  251. Stress away on wrist and brain stem. Rutavala also works Awesome. My brother was in a very bad car accident had a bruised brain similar to shaken baby he was very depressed and Rutavala made it go away. He’s healed now but still uses those oils if he feels it coming in.
