Fresh fish, vegetables, fruits. If there are produce in your vicinity that did not take the usual fertilizer or pesticide route when it was grown, so much the better. Additives that are used to make food taste better should be used at a minimum. Monosodium glutamate is a no no. Minimize use of salt and soy sauce. You can use olive oil only as a topper when your food is already on your plate but do not use it as an alternative for cooking oil when you cook your food because there are studies indicating that olive oil can cause cancer if used as oil for cooking.
