Ancient Remedy To Protect You from Respiratory Infections

There is a brilliant story behind this remedy. You must read it.
During the 14th century, a  disastrous disease visited Europe. It was known as the Black Plague, and it is estimated that a staggering 50 million people died from it. 60% of Europeans were known to have died. Unbelievable. Anyhow, there were a handful of individuals who seemed to be immune to the disease. The story goes that a group of men were taking advantage of the sick and dying by going into their homes and stealing their goods. It was thought that these men were foolish and would soon die of the disease. However, they didn’t die and seemed impervious to the disease. When the thieves were apprehended, they confessed that their mother had made up a concoction that protected them from the disease. By the way, the mother, had some medical training because she was a midwife. The remedy consisted of vinegar laced with various herbs. the men drank the concoction and used it to wash with after they handled the stolen goods. The men shared the recipe in exchange for their freedom.
How accurate this story is I do not know. But, the recipe is used to this day and will help alleviate symptoms and protect you from respiratory infections. I found an adapted better version from a herbalist blogger called Karen Vaughan. The recipe is easy to make and you should be able to find the ingredients in any good health food store or online.
