Sugar is so addictive. I call it the legal equivalent to crack cocaine. Like cocaine, sugar stimulates the happy hormone serotonin. That’s why you get a pleasant sensation when eating food loaded with sugar. And guess what. I am addicted. I may write about healthy living, but I have a confession. I am a sugar addict. I blame my mom. She loved giving us sweets at a young age. Studies show if you give sugary foods to very young children they develop a preference for them.
