1. Clean Up Your Dog’s Face

If you have a white or light colored dog then you are well acquainted with chromodacryorrhea, that brownish red stain that affects the eyes, mouth, and sometimes even the feet. Although it’s not harmful, it certainly is ugly and regular washing won’t make it go away, but lemon juice can!
Mix equal parts of lemon juice and baking soda and rub the paste into your dog’s fur in the affected areas. Be sure not to let them lick it off and try to keep it directly out of their eyes. Allow to sit for 10 minutes, then rinse well. Your doggie will have their beautiful, natural color back!

2.  Whiten Your Nails

If you have ever gone to a salon for a manicure or pedicure and paid extra to have your yellowing nails whitened, here is a little money saving tip for you: simply use lemon juice. Yellowing nails is normal with age and a lack of sunlight. Add the juice of ½ of a lemon to 1 cup of warm water. Place your nails in this solution for 5 minutes. You can even rub some of the lemon peel across the top of the nail for extra whitening power. Rinse and moisturize afterwards.

3.  Terrific Skin Exfoliator

Make a paste with ½ cup of sugar, ½ cup of almond or olive oil, the juice from one lemon and half of a finely chopped lemon peel. Mix well and apply this paste to your wet body in the shower. Avoid your eyes and genital area. Rinse thoroughly afterwards and check out your beautiful, glowing skin.

4. Super Window Washer

Mix the juice of one lemon with two tablespoons of white vinegar in a spray bottle. Fill with water and then spritz on your windows or other glassware. Not only does this make them sparkle like crazy, they’ll smell good, too!

5. Make Your Own Furniture Polish

No need to buy expensive wood furniture polish that is loaded with chemicals. Simply mix one cup of olive oil with a half cup of lemon juice in a spray bottle. Shake well, and then spritz it on your furniture. Rub it in well with a soft cloth. This method cleans and moisturizes the wood, making your furniture look beautiful and last longer.
