Microwave ovens have been around since the late 1940’s and are a staple appliance in most American homes. They are very convenient, especially in our time poor lives. Microwaves have been deemed safe to use. After 40 years of use surely we would know if they were dangerous. That’s another story for another time.
This article is not about whether microwaves are safe or not. It is about foods that should not be microwaved. Most of us are probably aware not to cook hard boiled eggs in a microwave oven in case they explode, but what else should we avoid.
