WARNING: 20 Medications That Causes Memory Loss

20 Medications Known to Cause Memory Loss

Prescription drugs cause over 100,000 deaths per year and cause another 1.5 million people to experience side effects so severe they must be hospitalized.
Adverse drug reactions are now the fourth leading cause of death in the US. (1) Every medication carries some risks and memory loss is a very common side effect.
This list was assembled by Richard C. Mohs, Ph.D., former vice chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Are you taking any of these medications? If so, we recommend you talk to your doctor if you believe it’s affecting your memory.
Get your doctor to work with you to find better options — different prescriptions and/or making healthy lifestyle choices — instead.

  1. Well damn & I was blaming it on the door way. You do know the door ways make you forget what you were going in the other room for right?

  2. wrong and false and bad. you literally just named every brand of medication and I suppose you are going to have me eat parsley pills instead.

  3. Not everyone is going to be affected. Most medications have side effects listed but it does not mean everyone who takes those meds is going to have a problem. But for those people who are having memory problems then they need to take a look at their meds.

  4. Ladies and gents, just to let you know that this article is for those who are having memory issues. If you are taking the meds and have no problems then continue taking them. Most meds have side effects, but not everyone is going to have issues.

  5. It is about certain medications that are known to cause memory problems. It does not say you should stop taking the medication though, if it does not affect you.

  6. Need to eat real foods and water, detox and get off the meds, stop supporting the sick machine of the pharmaceutical industry.! People are brain wasted into thinking they need them!

  7. Steve, the way you talk about medicine is uneducated. If you ever contract a life threatening disease, I encourage you to turn down conventional medication. There are many people who live healthy lifestyles and can still benefit from pharmaceuticals, I’m sure there will be a time in your life when you will understand this. P.S. brain washed*
