Who would have thought that something as simple as baking soda could be the perfect remedy for healing the kidneys. Baking soda is a multi-purpose ingredient used for baking, cleaning etc. I think this is why it is not taken seriously as a health remedy. However, I found a very interesting article about new research suggesting that sodium bicarbonate can dramatically slow the progress of chronic kidney disease.
